We had such an amazing dinner here. The atmosphere was lively, fun, and perfect for a celebration. The presentation of the desserts was incredible and honestly one of the highlights of the night. Everything looked beautiful and tasted just as good. I also want to specifically mention our server, Abel. He was outstanding the entire evening. He was attentive without being intrusive, made great recommendations, and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. His service truly made the experience memorable. Overall, a great night with excellent food and even better service. I would definitely come back and highly recommend asking for Abel if you visit.

Da Vinci Ristorante Italiano captures the spirit of Italian dining with its cozy, elegant atmosphere and warm hospitality. The decor feels authentically Italian, blending rustic touches and artistic details that create a welcoming space for both intimate dinners and special occasions. We were invited to this restaurant, and our friends kept talking about it for so long that we finally had to see for ourselves — and it truly lived up to all the praise. The menu is a true celebration of Italy’s culinary tradition. Freshly made pastas like the rich fettuccine Alfredo and the delicate lobster ravioli stand out for their bold flavors and perfect texture. Wood-fired pizzas arrive with crisp, airy crusts and high-quality toppings. Seafood and meat dishes, like the tender veal scaloppine and the branzino, are prepared with great attention to authenticity and flavor. Each plate is thoughtfully presented, balancing rustic charm with refined technique. Desserts at Da Vinci are just as memorable. The house-made tiramisu is light, creamy, and perfectly balanced, while the panna cotta and cannoli offer a sweet finish that lingers beautifully. Paired with an Italian espresso or a dessert wine, they round out the meal with a perfect touch of indulgence. Service is attentive and knowledgeable, with staff eager to help you select the perfect wine or dish. Although it can get busy during peak hours, the overall experience remains smooth and enjoyable. Da Vinci Ristorante Italiano is a wonderful choice for anyone craving authentic, beautifully prepared Italian cuisine in a warm and charming setting.

Abel and Ryan were awesome, gracious, and hilarious. Came here for mother’s day with my family (who’ve all been here except for me). Food was incredible. Small authentic Italian atmosphere.

I’ve been coming to Da Vinci for over seven years, and it used to be my absolute favorite Italian restaurant in Houston ????????. Back then, when a kind older waiter with glasses used to serve us, the experience felt truly special — he was always so friendly and attentive with my family, and I genuinely miss that warm and personal service. Lately, I’ve noticed that the staff changes frequently, and every time I visit there are new waiters. This constant rotation has made the restaurant lose a bit of that familiar and cozy feeling it once had. The food is still good, but the quality and overall warmth have slightly declined over time. One recommendation I would make is to add a kids’ menu, since it would make the experience even more family-friendly. Also, because the restaurant is quite small and always full, it’s best to make a reservation in advance to ensure a table. Even with these changes, I keep coming back, hoping they bring back that authentic Italian charm and hospitality that made Da Vinci feel like home.

1. Since this is small restaurant, make reservations. We tried the gorgonzola pasta with shrimp and the seafood parpadelle with the strawberry champagne sorbet (best part). Would return for an app, drink and a dessert. The pasta dishes are generous so if we tried another, I would share with my husband.

I have heard about this restaurant for a while but every time I called, they were booked. Yesterday (Wed) was my mom’s birthday so I decided to bring her here & OMG! This restaurant has now become my absolute favorite restaurant. It’s small (which is why is often booked) but the ambiance makes you feel like you’re in small town in Italy, the music adds to the ambience and the service is just superb! I wonder if our waiter was the owner because he was truly amazing (the other staff were great as well). Now let’s talk about the food. The flavor was fresh & unique. We loved it. The presentation was over the top and super cute! From the salt & pepper, to the plates/bowls, to the spoons & the coffee cup! Just amazing! I will come here next time I’m having a bad day, a sad day, a happy day, a special celebration, an intimate meeting, date night, birthday or just anything I want to create a memorable occasion for. We loved it!
